Dimple R. Tharp age 96 of Alexandria, IN passed away Thursday, June 25, 2015 at the St. Vincent Anderson Regional Medical Center in Anderson, IN. She was born April 9, 1919 in Overton Co., TN to Will Letner and Martha (Reid) Letner. She had lived in the Alexandria area for the past 18 years, was a seamstress and a post office employee. Dimple is survived by Daughter: Marcia Meyer ; Son: Tom Tharp ; (4) Grandchildren and (6) Great-Grandchildren. Also survived by other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her Parents: Will and Martha Letner ; Husband: Thomas L. Tharp ; Son: Keith Tharp ; (2) Sisters and (3) Brothers. Graveside services will be held Thursday, July 2, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. from the Maxwell Chapel Cemetery with burial in the Maxwell Chapel Cemetery. * There will be no visitation at the funeral home *
