Charles Edward "Chalk" Robbins

Charles Edward "Chalk" Robbins age 66 of the Overton County Nursing Home passed away Tuesday February 25, 2014 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.
He was born May 12, 1947 in Overton Co., TN to Sylvester Robbins and Alice (Spurlin) Robbins. He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Army, a member of the DAV and was a electrician.
Charles is survived by (2) Daughters: Trista Land and Husband: Chase - Georgia and Jerrica Martin and Husband: Bobby - Las Vegas, NV ; (2) Sons: Steven Charles Robbins - Cookeville, TN and James Bradley Robbins and Wife: Lauren - Georgia ; (2) Brothers: Vester Carl Robbins and Wife: Judy - Lebanon, TN and Jesse Robbins - Overton Co., TN ; (2) Grandsons. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents: Sylvester and Alice Robbins ; (2) Brothers: Clifford and Aris Robbins ; (4) Sisters: Versie G. Robbins, Drexal Marie Robbins, Opal Huddleston and Ova Garver.
Funeral services will be held Sunday March 2, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. from the Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Edwin Garrett officiating. Burial to be in the Sylvester Robbins Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the Livingston Funeral Home.
Hurmon "Sprig" Langford age 75 of Lee Ave. in Cookeville, TN passed away Sunday February 9, 2014 at the Livingston Regional Hospital.
He was born July 8, 1938 in the Hardy's Chapel community of Overton Co., TN to Thomas Bradford Langford and Elizabeth "Lizzie" (Franklin) Langford. He was a member of Standing Stone Praise and Worship in Hilham, TN , a Veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the Army , a auto factory employee and a farmer.
Hurmon "Sprig" is survived by Daughter: Kathleen Goolsby and Husband: Roger - Cookeville, TN ; (1) Sisters: Sandra Hobbs and Husband: Gary - Pensacola, FL ; Sister-In-Law: Fredda Langford - Livingston, TN ; (1) Brother: Douglas Langford - Hardy's Chapel, TN ; (1) Grandchild: Bobby Leland Goolsby. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents: Thomas and Lizzie Langford ; Special Companion: Hazel Lucille Horn ; (2) Brothers: Thurman and Doyle Langford ; (2) Sisters: Ruby Jones and Reba Poteet.
Funeral service will be held Thursday February 13, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. from the Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Donnie Bull officiating and burial in the Sand Springs Memorial Garden in Monterey, TN.
The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. at the Livingston Funeral Home.
