Imogene Sells Franklin
August 31, 1926 - June 21, 2017

Funeral services for Mrs. Imogene Sells Franklin, age 90, of Livingston will be conducted 11 a.m., Friday, June 23, 2017 from the Livingston Funeral Home Chapel. Officiating will be Brian Ghormley & Greg Arnold. Burial will be in the Good Hope Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Thursday evening from 5 until 9 p.m. at the Livingston Funeral Home Chapel.

Mrs. Franklin passed from this life on Wednesday morning, June 21, 2017 at the Overton County Health & Rehab Center with her loving family by her side. She was born in Overton County to the late Archie & Edna Carmack Sells. Imogene was a member of the First Baptist Church in Livingston where she enjoyed teaching many children in sunday school and being with her church family. She was involved for many years in the Foster-Grandparents Program teaching and helping many young children grow in the Lord. She loved her family and her grandchildren & great grandchildren. She also loved to sew for many people in her community.

She is survived by her two daughters, Jane Ghormley & husband Ben of Harrison, TN; & JoAnn Dorsey & husband Jack of Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Jongee Arnold & husband Greg of Livingston, TN, Stephanie Bobenhausen & husband Paul of Apison, TN, Brian Ghormley & wife Deanna of Georgetown, TN & Chad Ghormley & wife Tonya of Ringgold , GA; great grandchildren, Madison Bobenhausen, Tyler Bobenhausen, Andrew Ghormley, Megan Ghormley & Chase Ghormley, Cade Arnold & Macy Arnold.

In addition to her parents Imogene was preceded in death by her brother, Albert Butler "Gabe" Sells.

Pallbearers to serve are Brian Ghormley, Chad Ghormley, Andrew Ghormley, Chase Ghormley, Cade Arnold & Paul Bobenhausen.

Memorial Donation may be made to the First Baptist Church Building Fund.
