Steven Ross Garrett
January 18, 1962 - August 26, 2016
A Celebration of Life service for Mr. Steven Ross Garrett, age 54, of the Hardys Chapel Community will be conducted at 5 p.m., Monday, August 29, 2016 from the chapel of the Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Dewey Glen Masters will officiate. Burial will be in the Poplar Springs Cemetery at a later date. The family will welcome friends on Monday Afternoon from 2 p.m. until time of services at 5 p.m.
Mr. Garrett passed from the life on Friday, August 26, 2016 at his home. He was born in Overton County to Norbert D. Garrett and the late Morine Edmonds Garrett.
Steven enjoyed playing music and played in the Roaring River Band. He loved his grandkids and enjoyed fishing on the river. He was a member of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
He is survived by his daughters, Angel Leann Garrett of the Hardys Chapel Community & Alicen Garrett of Algood; grandsons, Lukas Teague & Klark Allen Collier; father, Norbert D. Garrett of the Hardys Chapel Community; sister, Diane Hargis of Algood; & brother, Wayne Garrett of Algood.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nena Brown Garrett; & mother, Morine Edmonds Garrett.
