Funeral services for Mr. Jim Edd Eldridge will be conducted 7 p.m., Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at the Livingston Funeral Home Chapel. Bro. Nolan Cantrell will officiate. A Private Family Burial will be held Wednesday at the Pleasant Ridge Cemetery. Military Honors will be provided by the James T. Davis Memorial Post 5062 of the VFW in Livingston. The family will welcome friends on Tuesday evening from 4 until time of services at 7 p.m., at the Livingston Funeral Home.
Jim Edd passed from this life at his home on Sunday Morning, March 26, 2017. He was born in Overton County September 16, 1940 to the late Montie & Elsie Qualls Eldridge. He was a member of the Pleasant Ridge United Methodist Church. He graduated Rickman High School in 1959. He served in the Army during the Vietnam Era. Jim Edd enjoyed being around people, loved bluegrass music and farming.
He is survived by his brother, Randall Eldridge & wife Nancy of Monterey, TN; sisters, Ruth Blakney & husband Dennis of Woodstock, GA & Gearldine Matheny & husband L.T. of Rickman, TN; nieces Natalie Masters & Missy Rhodes; nephews Brent Key, Blake Key & Kevin Dishman; and his friends of the Garden Cafe.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his niece, Shelia Dishman.
