December 4, 1924 - January 7, 2017

Funeral Service for Mrs. Meekle Hester Boswell, age 92 of Livingston will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Tuesday January 10, 2017 from the Chapel of the Livingston Funeral Home in Livingston, Tennessee with Bro. Benny Sells & Bro. Aaron Dillon officiating. Burial will be in the Falling Springs Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Monday evening from 5 until 9 p.m.

Mrs. Meekle Hester Boswell passed from this life on January 7, 2017 at the Livingston Regional Hospital. She was born December 4, 1924 in Overton County to the late Willie Murphy and Lilly Mae Bilbrey. She was a member of the Falling Springs Missionary Baptist Church. She was a Factory worker and loved spending time with family, loved quilting, cooking and gardening.

She is survived by her husband Vernon Boswell of Allred, TN., Sons, Lee Boswell, Livingston, TN., Charles Boswell, Cookeville, TN., David and wife Pam Boswell Cookeville, TN., Daughters, Mary Frances Howell of Alpine, TN., and Colene Ledbetter of Livingston, TN. 1 Sister, Lou Ester Dishman of Sparta, TN.
Grandchildren, Greg Ledbetter, of Crossville, TN., Kim Stonecipher and Mitch of Rickman, TN., Tonia Duke and Jason, of Livingston, TN., Tammy Castle and Steve, of Livingston, TN., Joseph Boswell and Brittany, of Cleveland, TN., and Denton Boswell and Candice of Nashville, TN. 18 Great Grandchildren and 7 Great Great Grandchildren also survive.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Boswell is preceded in death by 1 son W.L. Boswell, 2 Sisters, Bessie Shuteman and Lydia Murphy, 3 Brothers, Denton Murphy, Luther Murphy and Lester Murphy.

Pallbearers to serve are Greg Ledbetter, Jason Duke, Matt Ledbetter, Mitch Stonecipher, Joseph Boswell, Denton Boswell, Emery Duke, Carter Duke.
