Ward Delano York
February 25, 1945 - March 2, 2016

Funeral services for Mr. Ward D. York, age 71, of Livingston will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2016 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Freddy Looper officiating. Burial will be in the Okolona Cemetery in Rickmab. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 until 9 p.m.

Mr. York passed from this life on March 2, 2016 at the Livingston Regional Hospital. He was born February 25, 1945 in Fentress County to the late Ira & Martha Smith York. He was a surveyor.

He was a member of the Assembly of God and a veteran of the U.S. National Guard. He loved his work as a surveyor, watching westerns on T.V., yard work, and spending time with his family & friends.

He is survived by his daughter, Michele Payne of Livingston; grandsons, Steven Wilson & Aaron Payne; brother, Alton York & wife , Judy of Allons; a sister, Treva Liesure of Livingston; and several nieces & nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife: Anna Isabell York, brother: Rabon York, and sister: Faye Brown.

Pallbearers to serve are Steven Wilson, Dewayne York, Ben Levee, David York, Darren York, & Cody York.
