Funeral services for Ms. Eva Mae Oakley, age 78 of the Highland Mountain Community will be conducted 2 p.m., Sunday, December 10, 2017 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Rick Lacy Bro. Troy Pennington will officiate. Burial will be in the Harris Chapel Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Saturday evening from 5 until 9 p.m., at the Livingston Funeral Home.Ms. Oakley passed peacefully from this life on Friday morning, December 8, 2017 from the Overton County Health Rehab. She was born in Overton County to the late Murf Ova Dee Smith Oakley. She was a 1958 graduate of Livingston Academy. Baptist in faith, Eva Mae enjoyed quilting and painting, her flowers and getting together with her family and friends.Ms. Eva Mae is survived by her sisters, Delta Ferrell of Livingston, TN Ruby Kelly of Knoxville, TN; special nieces Sandra Matthews of Rickman, TN DeeAnn Shipley of Knoxville a host of family of friends.She was preceded in death by her parents.Pallbearers to serve are Ronnie Smith, Douglas Oakley, Troy Pennington, Randy Gentry, Stevie Oakley George Smith. Honorary pallbearers to serve are Fred Smith, William Green,Joe Chilton,and Bub Stockton.
