Edith M. Sells
March 16, 1924 - October 10, 2016

Funeral services for Mrs. Edith M. Sells age 92, of Alpine will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Rev. David Moore and Rev. Dee Wells officiating. Burial will be in the Ferrell Cemetery in Alpine, TN. The family will welcome friends on Wednesday evening from 5 until 9 p.m.

Mrs. Sells passed from this life in the comfort of her home with her loving family by her side on Monday evening, October 10, 2016. She was born March 6, 1924 in Overton County to the late Bill and Ruby Lee Evans Ledford. She was a garment factory worker and member of the Millers Chapel Christian Church. She loved being with her family and her grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, baking, gardening, playing Putt Putt Golf, and going to the Smoky Mountains.

She is survived by 3 sons, Danny Ray & Robbie Sells of Alpine, Billy Joe Sells of Smyrna, and Michael & Carolyn Sells of Alpine; daughter, Juanita N. & Randall Dial of Livingston; 15 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Bruce & Janice Ledford of Lebanon, TN.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Harlon D. Sells, son: Harlon David Sells, daughters: Linda Carol Dial and Barbara Kay Crabtree, brothers: Kenneth Casto Ledford, John Andrew Ledford, and Pat Ledford, sister: Nannie Mae Ledford, and a great-granddaughter: Alexandria Skylar Roberts.

Pallbearers to serve are Robert Wayne Sells, Daniel Ray Sells, Rocky Dial, Andy Roberts, Chris Sells, Ricky Ricketson, Randall Ricketson, and Jonathan Sells. Honorary pallbearers are all of her great-grandsons.
