Funeral services for Mrs. Tommie Faye Long Copeland age 74, of Livingston will be conducted 11 a.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Bro. Mike Graff & Bro. Brett Gibbons will officiate. Burial will be in the Martin Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Friday evening, January 13, 2017 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Livingston Funeral Home.
Mrs. Copeland passed peacefully from this life at her grandson home in Sparta on Wednesday evening January 11, 2017. She was born in Overton County November 23, 1942 to the late Sewell Canada & Clara Parker Melton Long. She was a graduate of Livingston Academy. A member of the Martin Chapel Church. Faye was a very sweet and caring lady. She enjoyed yard work and gardening. She was a very special lady to all who knew her.
She is survived by her loving grandsons, Jeremy Sells & wife Brandy of Sparta, TN, Stormy Chilton & wife Gabrielle of Hilham, TN & Dyln Chilton of Knoxville; sisters, Edna Roberts of Livingston, TN & Phyllis Alford of Columbus GA; brother, Bill J. Long of OK; great grandson, Capp Sells of Sparta, TN;
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Dennis Copeland; daughter, Tammy Copeland; brother, Horace Canada Long & sister, Sarah Bilbrey.
