A Memorial Service will be conducted for Mrs. Lenel Gaye Nichols, age 61, of Cookeville at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2016 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Alan Judd officiating. The family will welcome friends on Tuesday from 1 p.m. until service at 2 p.m.
Mrs. Nichols passed from this life on May 19, 2016 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born November 22, 1954 in Pampa, Texas to Royce Turpen Copeland and the late James L. Copeland. She was a tax preparer for Jackson Hewitt.
She attended the Church of Christ. She loved being with her family and friends and also enjoyed being with her friends from AA.
She is survived by her mother, Royce Copeland of Livingston; brothers, Ricky & Brenda Copeland and William & Pansy Copeland, all of Livingston; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces, & great-nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father and her husband: John Nichols.
