MADISON - Dorothy Alice Harbort, age 88, passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Madison. Dorothy was born on Nov. 6, 1929 in Rockford, IL to William L. and Inez L (Lewis) De La Ronde. She worked for over 30 years for the Wisconsin Department of Revenue. In 1952, Dorothy married Robert L. Harbort. He preceded her in death on March 24, 2000.
She is survived by her children, Dennis R. (Charmaine) Harbort of Madison Dawn M. (Raymond) Harbort-Clark of Rochester, MN and Deb A. (Jack) Sarver of Madison; as well as two grandsons, Brian M. Harbort and Aaron J. Harbort; four step-grandchildren, Michelle Clark, Sheila Clark, Jennifer (Scott) Wren and Eileen Clark; and 4 step great-grandchildren, Julius Correa, Sabrina and Adele Wren, and Lily Tankoua.
A Celebration of Dorothy's Life will be held at a future date. The family requests that all memorials be sent to Agrace HospiceCare, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI 53711.
