Nadene "Sunny" Moore
July 19, 1926 - January 30, 2018

Nadene "Sunny" Moore, 91 of Rochester, MN died Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Homestead of Rochester.
Sunny was born July 19, 1926 to Roy and Inez (Pemble) Booth in Tenstrike, MN. She grew up in Tenstrike and graduated from Blackduck High School in 1943. She graduated from the then named Bemidji State Teachers College (now Bemidji State University) in 1947. On July 10, 1948 she married Daniel Moore in Tenstrike. Sunny taught at the Red Lake Indian Reservation and the family moved to Rochester in 1950. She was a counselor at the Rochester Ability Building Center (ABC) for 18 years. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, and was an avid reader. She engaged in volunteer work throughout her life, most recently at Samaritan Bethany where she worked with patients in memory care and staffed the gift shop which she also supplied with her hand knit dish cloths. She and Dan enjoyed 25 years at their Cabin on Woman Lake, where they entertained both family and guests.
She is survived by her husband, Daniel of Rochester; four children, Nan Moore of Minneapolis, MN, Dan (Brigid) Moore of Westerville, OH, Kathy Moore of Minneapolis, MN, Tom (Shari) Moore of Rochester, MN; two grandsons, Matthew and Michael Charles Moore; four great grandchildren, Caleb, Bryson, Shyla and Audrey. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Zona Grave and Arlene Winch; and two brothers, Guy and Theodore Booth.
A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2018, at the Ranfranz and Vine Remembrance and Reception Centre (5482 Royal Place NW). Visitation starts one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at Oakwood East Cemetery at a later date.
