Eudelia Delgado
January 1, 1925 - February 1, 2018

WESLACO - Eudelia De Leon Delgado, 93, passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018, at San Juan Nursing Home, San Juan, Texas after a lengthy illness. She was born in Mercedes, Texas on January 1, 1925, and was the daughter of Cristobal De Leon and Guadalupe Trevino.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Cristobal De Leon and Guadalupe Trevino, her husband Jesus Roman Delgado, sisters Altagracia De Leon Gonzalez (Manuel), Tomasa De Leon Anzaldua (Luis), Estefana De Leon Singleterry (Juan), Lorenza De Leon Balderas (Encarnacion), Socorro Vidales (Cristobal) from weslaco, her twin sisiter Ofelia De Leon Chapa (Alfonso) from La Joya, Texas, and brother Deogracio De Leon (Jesusita Pena) from Weslaco. She is survived by her brother Mr. Domingo De Leon in California.

A lifelong resident of Weslaco, she was married to Jesus Roman Delgado at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church in 1951 where they were faithful parishioners. Later, both were Parishioners of San Martin de Porres Catholic Church, Weslaco, TX.

Eudelia was a faithful member of San Martin de Porres serving for many years as an Usher at the 5:30 pm Mass on Saturdays, and also involved in the Comunidad de Catolicos Ministry until her age and illness held her back.

Mrs. Delgado is survived by their three sons: Mr. Sergio Delgado (Karen) from Richmond, Texas; Rev. Father Ruben Delgado, Pastor at Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church, Harlingen, Texas; Mr. Roel Delgado from McAllen, Texas, and various grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 pm - 8 pm on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at McCaleb Funeral Home in Weslaco, a rosary will be recited at 7 pm. Visitation will be from 2 pm - 6 pm on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at McCaleb Funeral Home in Weslaco, a rosary will be recited at 5 pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 10 am on Monday, February 5, 2018, at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church in Weslaco, Texas. Eudelia will be buried at Highland Memorial Park in Weslaco.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of McCaleb Funeral Home of Weslaco.
