Bonnie Dale Anderson
February 28, 1935 - January 31, 2018

Bonnie Dale (Burnett) Anderson, age 82, passed away at the Knoxville Community Hospital on Wednesday, January 31, 2018.

Bonnie was born February 28, 1935, in Gary Indiana, the daughter of Leslie and Myrtle Elizabeth (Williamson) Burnett.

On July 3, 1954, in Des Moines Bonnie and Lloyd E. Anderson were united in marriage. They shared 58 years of marriage and had two daughters Kristen and Kerry.

Bonnie and Lloyd made their home in Knoxville were Bonnie worked as a beautician for several years and later at a bookstore, a pharmacy, and a Hallmark store.

She will be fondly remembered for her remarkable sense of humor, her awesome grandma super-powers, and the kindness she demonstrated in her everyday life.

Bonnie is survived by her brother Raymond Burnett (Joan) of Johnston; her two daughters, Kristen Kennedy (Jim McCoy) of Knoxville and Kerry Anderson (John G. Haas) of Urbandale. She is also survived by five grandchildren: Andy Haning-Brown, Caitlyn Haning, Leah Huyser, John D. Haas, and Allison Kea; and seven great grandchildren: Andie Branson, Kaylie Haas, Bayley Kea, Logan Kea, Grace Kea, James Kea, and Keaton Huyser.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, Leslie and Myrtle Burnett; her husband, Lloyd; two brothers, Leslie and Jim Burnett, and a sister, Betty Swarthout.

Bonnie's wishes were to be cremated, visitation for Bonnie will be held from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service on Saturday, February 3, 2018. Bonnie's family will be greeting friends during this time. A Memorial Service for Bonnie will be held at 10:30 A.M., Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Winfield Funeral Home in Knoxville with Pastor Cindy Neilson officiating. An internment will follow services at Graceland Cemetery.
