Funeral services for Mr. Gary Wayne Looper, age 55, of Livingston will be conducted 11 a.m., Sunday, February 4, 2018, from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Mike Mullinix will officiate. Burial will be in the Hunter Cove Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Saturday from 12 noon until 9 p.m., then on Sunday from 10 a.m. until time of services.
Mr. Gary Wayne Looper passed from this life on Thursday evening, February 1, 2018, in the comfort of his home in Livingston. Gary was born in Santa Monica, California on May 14, 1962 to Nelda Sue Harris Looper and the late Kermit Conrad Looper. He was a mechanic by trade and enjoyed working on vehicles. Gary loved being with his family and teaching them everything he could. He also enjoyed looking for Indian Artifacts.
He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Mrs. Rita Faye Roark Looper of Livingston, TN; sons, Casey Looper & wife Ashli of Westmoreland, TN & Tyler Looper of Cleveland, TN; daughter, Megan Daniel Looper of Livingston, TN; mother, Sue Looper of Livingston, TN; sisters, Felcia Mitchell & Carol Moore; grandchildren, Whaylon Looper, Ashtin Looper, Aeden Looper, Kyler Looper, Madison Looper, Emily Looper & Aubrey Looper.
In addition to his father, Gary was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Looper.
Pallbearers to serve are Casey Looper, Tyler Looper, Hubert Roark, John Fletcher, Art Smith & Jerry Harris.
Honorary Pallbearer is Randy Coffee.
