Graveside services for Mr. Jack Donald Davis, age 87, of Knoxville and formerly of Allons, TN, will be conducted 1 p.m., Monday, February 5, 2018 from the Overton County Memorial Gardens. The family will welcome friends at the time of services.
Mr. Davis peacefully passed away on Wednesday, January 31, 2018, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 13, 1930 in Allons, TN, to the late Chester and Lora Kerr Davis. He was a longtime member of Arlington Church of Christ and retired in 1984 from Flowers Baking Company.
He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Rosaline Ferril Davis, sons Don Davis, wife Vicki and Ken Davis, wife Deborah, grandchildren Jonathan Davis, Sarah Chapman, Jeremy and Seth Davis, 7 great-grandchildren Jackson, Bailey, Isabel, Emma, Charlie, Olivia and Ava, sister Jean Arms Watson, nephews Jack, Larry and David Arms, extended church family and dear friends.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 4th, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Mynatt Funeral Home, Fountain City Chapel, 2829 Rennoc Road, Knoxville, TN 37918, with funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Minister Mark Brackney will be officiating.
