Laura M. Boeshore
July 18, 1927 - February 1, 2018

Laura M. Boeshore, 90, of Laureldale, passed away Thursday, February 1st in Berks Heim.

Laura was married to the late Joseph H. Boeshore, Jr. who passed away September 11, 2000.

Born in Lower Heidelberg Twp., she was the daughter of the late Daniel Ohlinger and Emma (Gelsinger) Ohlinger.

Laura was a member of St. John's Hains United Church of Christ Church in Wernersville.

Laura was employed as a Nurse's Aide and Unit Secretary at Berks Heim for twenty five years. After Berks Heim Laura was employed at the Fairgrounds Market for Weisser's Deli.

Laura was a member of the Reading Boombadeers and the Red Hat Club at Berks Heim.

Laura enjoyed playing bingo, playing the organ, loved listening to all types of music, and she enjoyed camping and traveling in her RV.


Surviving are Laura's children, Barbara J. (Fehnel) Spatz, widow of Bruce Spatz of Laureldale, Kenneth E. Boyer and wife Jeanne of Newport, NC, Joseph H. Boeshore, widow of Terrie of Schuylkill Haven, and a son, Terry.

There are twelve grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Laura is predeceased by a son, Richard D. Boyer who passed away April 1987 and a grandchild.

Laura is the last of seven siblings.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, February 8th at 11 am in the Milkins Giles Funeral Home, Inc., 4914 Kutztown Rd., Temple.

Reverend Ann Bolek will officiate the service.

A viewing will be held on Thursday morning one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.

Interment will follow the service in Good Shepherd Cemetery in Tuckerton.
