Diana Kay Gerhardt. 65, of West Burlington, died 10:10 p.m. Saturday, February 3, 2018 at the Great River Hospice House in West Burlington.
Born December 16, 1952 in Massena, New York, she was the daughter of Louis and Vivian (Broadwell) Chase. She married Michael Gerhardt Sr. on November 18, 1983 in Wapello, Iowa.
Diana was in management for Shearer's Foods for 28 years. She retired in 2016.
She was of the Catholic faith.
She liked to golf, play games on her computer and reading. She was all about her family and adored her grandkids.
Survivors include her husband Michael Gerhardt Sr. of West Burlington; three children, Margo (Ken) White of West Burlington, Mike (Stephanie) Gerhardt Jr. of Oakville and Shane (Megan) Gerhardt of Colorado Springs, CO; six grandchildren; one sister, Pam Delosh of Massena, NY; two brothers, Patrick Chase Sr. of Aurora, CO and Warren (Linda) Chase of Massena, NY; brother-in-law Dick Danboise of Massena, NY and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Sandy Danboise, brother-in-law Kent Delosh, nephew Patrick Chase Jr. and great niece Kimmy Currier
The memorial funeral service for Diana will be 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 7th at Lunning Chapel. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
A memorial has been established.
According to her wishes, cremation has been accorded and entrusted to Lunning Chapel.
