Frances L. Benny, age 89, of Berkeley Township, passed away on Sunday, February 4, 2018 at Holiday Care Center in Toms River.
Born in Manhattan, NY, Frances grew up in Jersey City, NJ, got married and moved to Brooklyn, NY, then relocated to Sayreville, NJ before settling down in the Toms River area last September. During her time in New York, she was an Administrative Assistance for First Boston Bank.
Frances was predeceased by her parents George and Josephine Comparetto; husband Joseph Benny and brother Charles Comparetto. Surviving are her sisters Barbara Comparetto and Veronica Tracy and her husband Raymond; nieces Patricia Norcia, Karen Smith and Pamela Pavlisko; nephews Salvatore Mangerpan and Louis Mangerpan.
Mass will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 10:30AM at St. Maximilian Kolbe RC Church, 130 St. Maximilian Lane, Toms River. Cremation was private and entrusted to Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River.
