Nadia G. Marcos, age 80, of Toms River, passed away on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ.
Born in Cairo, Egypt, Nadia moved to the United States in 1978 with her husband and resided in New Jersey. First they lived in Midland Park, then Waldwick and upon her husband's retirement in 2002, settled in the Toms River area. Nadia worked for UPS in Paramus and enjoyed reading, cooking and listening to music, especially her favorites from the 1950s.
Nadia was predeceased by her parents Dr. Guirguis & Elane Salib and her son Dr. Emad Marcos. Surviving is her loving husband Ramzy Marcos; son Michael Marcos and his wife Emon; grandchildren Abanoub, Nardin and Mary; siblings Faye and Samia.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018 from 3PM to 5PM at Horizon Funeral & Cremation Services, 1329 Route 37 West, Toms River. Funeral Liturgy will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at Archangel Michael Coptic Orthodox Church, 7 Church Road, Howell from 8:30AM to 11AM followed by a prayer service from 11AM to noon. Interment to follow at Ocean County Memorial Park, Toms River.
