"We didn't know Colin but, the accident happened outside of my daughter's work place in Irvine. She was just leaving work & pulled out seconds after. She stopped to possibly help & to pray. She felt a connection immediately, it's a God thing. This morning she placed some beautiful sunflowers on the site. She says that it felt like they knew each other. I told her that they do & will one day understand the connection. God Bless Colin & his entire family."

"This is an extraordinary loss to so many. I had the privilege of teaching Colin for one semester in 7th grade at Schaeffer Academy. It only took a few days to see he was an extraordinary young man -- a playful otter, quick thinker, athletic, skilled with people, spiritually-sensitive.  I saw him last two summers ago.  Impressive and winsome are the two words that came to mind then. The large space he carved in so many lives only leaves a larger hole going forward. I am so very sorry for your/our loss. Tim Nelson   I am sorry for your grief, too. I Cor. 15:57 Tim "
