Michael J. Funk was born August 14, 1946 in New Orleans, LA to Eugene & Evelyn Funk and passed away February 6, 2018 in Fort Worth, TX. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Lisa Funk; children: Steve Funk & wife Michelle, Teena Short, Sean Funk & wife Lynn, Michael Funk and Amanda Rodeen & husband Robert; grandchildren: Brandon Funk, Caitlin Funk, Andrew Garcia, Victoria Funk, Michael Short, Abagail Funk, Kyrsten Funk, Laura Funk, Devin Funk and Madison Rodeen. Michael was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Donald Funk. The Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 am., February 21, 2018 at Shannon Rufe Snow Funeral Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Dallas Fort / Worth National Cemetery at 1:15 pm.
