Obituary of Linda Chapman

Linda Chapman, 70, of Wilton, passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018 at Trinity Muscatine.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 8, 2018, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services.  In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for the American Heart Association in Linda's name.  Sympathy notes may be left for the family at www.lewisfuneralhomes.com.

 

Linda Rickey was born on August 20, 1947 in Ollie, Iowa the daughter of James and Gertrude (Poole) Rickey.  On August 6, 1967, Linda was united in marriage to Robert Chapman in Muscatine.  Linda had worked at the Maid-Rite, CDS and Huticks.  She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. 

 

Linda will be deeply missed by her husband, Robert; daughters, Samantha (Les) Dennison of Arkansas, Michelle (Scott) Freitag of Wilton and TerriSue Hughes of Wilton; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and one on the way; siblings, Colleen (Dennis) Wheeler of Muscatine, Barb Johnson of Muscatine, Diane Paul of AR, Mike (Neva) Rickey of Muscatine, Dave Rickey of Muscatine and Daniel (Lynn) Rickey of Muscatine and many nieces and nephews. 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and one daughter, Deanna Kay Chapman.
