Effie Lee Robertson
March 1, 1945 - January 30, 2018

Ms. Effie L. Williams - R., arrived in Trenton, TN on March 1, 1945 for the casting call of a lifetime. She was the daughter of Mr. Conry E. Williams, Sr. and Mrs. Ruth V. Williams.
Effie's road to stardom began in St. Louis, MO where she received her formal education in the public school system. In her teenage years, the tour of life led her to Indianapolis, IN until taking her final bow.
God shined the ultimate spotlight on Effie when she professed a hope in Christ and was baptized at an early age. She later became a member of Eastern Star Church until curtain call.
Effie's talents allowed her many roles beginning in 1968 when she received her first honor as a Cosmetologist. She went on to shine at Chrysler Motor Company until they moved from Indy. Her second honor soon followed when she earned her Certified Nursing Assistance license and rounded out her genre as a licensed Barber.
Effie's love for her family and friends allowed her to show once again just why she deserved an Academy Award as an excellent cook. She took great pride in cooking and was known for her delicious homemade cornbread dressing and award winning potato salad!
The legendary Ms. Effie L. Williams- R. received her star on the walk of fame on the golden streets of heaven on January 30, 2018 at 12:50pm, "as the clock was going towards the heavens", (her favorite quote) at the gracious age of 72.
She was welcomed with joy by her dearly departed Mom Thelma Williams; Dad Earl Williams Sr.; Brothers Conry "Bubble" Williams, Jr., Robert B. Williams; Sisters Pat Squires, Rose Stephanie and Linda Stephanie; Grandson Timothy "Aaron" Wesley, II; and longtime childhood friend, Iva "Jean" Taylor.
Effie has willed her star power to her parents: Mr. Conry Williams, and Mrs. Ruth Williams; a loving life partner Mr. Arthur Collins, Jr; four children Derrick (Betty) Warner, Kendra (Rick) Hart, Antione (Kiana) Flemmonds, Andrea "Renee" Flemmonds; ten Grandchildren; five Great Grandchildren; four Siblings, Carolyn Stubbs, David (Sandy) Jordan, Sr., Billy Stephanie and Earl Williams Jr. and a Blessing of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Tributes
