Mildred Marie Leibovich

Mildred Marie Leibovich, 93, of Rochester, MN formerly of Toledo, OH, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at her son's home.
Mildred was born March 19, 1924 in Toledo, Ohio to John W. and Lola (Quillen) Birtcher. She was a graduate of Waite High School. On February 10, 1951, in Toledo, she married Morris Leibovich. Mildred was a very detailed planner, which helped during her numerous years as a bookkeeper for various companies, until she became a fulltime, loving mom. She loved playing bingo and cards, especially pinochle and 500. Mildred belonged to the Three C's card club in Toledo and the Senior Center in Rochester. She had a love of country music and traveling with family. She was known as the navigator. She loved her entire family dearly and worried about them. Everyone will miss those late night phone calls. Mildred will be remembered for her pretty blue eyes, her loving and sweet personality, and her willingness to always help others.
Mildred is survived by her children, Larry (April) Leibovich of Rochester, Gary Leibovich of Rochester, Joyce Tester of Bolivar, OH, Judy (Mike) Hamilton of Maumee, OH; great-nephew, who was often referred to as the youngest of the family, Brian (Paula) Neal of Rossford, OH; grandchildren, Jennifer Hamilton, Danielle (Matt) Kenitz, Holly Hamilton (fiancé, Byron Mack), Luke (Allison) Leibovich; great-grandson, Evan Kenitz and numerous nieces and nephews. Mildred was preceded in death by her loving husband, Morris; her parents; her brother, Bill Birtcher and her sisters, Mary Alice Hutchinson and Betty Waggoner.
A funeral service will be held 5:00 p.m. Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes, 5421 Royal Place NW, Rochester with Chaplain Jan Wiersma officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00 p.m. until time of the service. Burial will be held at Toledo Memorial Park in Toledo, OH. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mildred's name to St. Croix Hospice, 3800 Hwy 52 North, Suite 200, Rochester, MN 55901 or to the charity of donor's choice.
