James Albert "Jim" Peterson, 90, died Tuesday, February 6, 2018, at the Vinton Lutheran Home due to complications of Parkinson's disease. A Celebration of Life service for Jim will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2018, at Wesley United Methodist Church in Vinton with Rev. Sue Thomas officiating. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Inurnment will be in Osage Cemetery at a later date. The full obituary will appear next week.
