Edward Joseph Streeter
March 1, 1929 - February 6, 2018

Edward Joseph Streeter, 88, of Burlington, died at 4:55 a.m., Wednesday, February, 7, 2018 at Great River Hospice House.
Born on March 2, 1929 in Sioux Falls, SD, he was the son of Eugene Franklin and Oneda Anne (Oscar) Streeter. He married Jean Kulp on August 30, 1948, they had three children. They divorced in 1974. He then married Marjorie Ann Hodel on September 24, 1976 in Monmouth, IL.
Edward retired from Klein Manufacturing after working as a foreman for forty years. He served in the United States Navy at the end of WW II followed by several years in the National Guard. He was a member of Burlington Apostolic Christian Church. He enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and loved to travel.
Survivors include his wife Marjorie; children, Virginia (Mike) Pyle of Pleasant Grove, IA, Edward F. Streeter of North Liberty, IA, and Yvonne (Karl) Judd of Montrose, IA; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; a brother, John (Melinda) Streeter of Morrison, CO; and a sister, Yvonne Gallagher of La Jolla, CA.
He was preceded in death by his parents and four brothers; Frank, Lawrence, Bob and Phillip.
The funeral service for Mr. Streeter will be at 10:30 Friday, February 9th at Burlington Apostolic Christian Church. Ministers of the Church will officiate. Interment will be in Burlington Memorial Park Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5-7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 8 at Lunning Chapel and also 9:30-10:15 a.m., Friday, February 9 at the church.
A memorial has been established for Burlington Apostolic Christian Church.
