Dorothy Laura Casey, age 85 of Tullahoma, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at Harton Tennova Healthcare. She was born on November 11, 1932 in Johnstown, New York to the late Edward and Dorothy Passero Sweeney Sr. Before her retirement, Dorothy worked as an accountant. She enjoyed gardening, reading (especially the newspaper), card playing, Bingo, and going to the beach. In addition to her parents, Dorothy is preceded in death by son, Thomas Casey; brothers, Patrick Sweeney, and Edward J. Sweeney Jr; and sister, Ann Marie Mastro. She is survived by son, John (Janie) Casey of Winchester, daughter, Kimberly (Jimmy) Wilson of Highland, Maryland; sister, Patricia Blanchard of Roanoke, Virginia; brother, Bill Sweeney of Hagaman, New York; thirteen grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 1-2 pm Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Deacon Phillip Johnson officiating.
