Thelma Lee Glover Ireland, 75, was born on March 4, 1942 in San Angelo, TX and went to be with our Lord on February 8, 2018. Thelma married her husband, Harold Ireland, on March 1, 1965. She graduated from Central High School and worked for many years at San Angelo ISD. She was a faithful and active member of Calvary Baptist Church where she loved to volunteer. She loved having friends and family around and had a loving caring spirit. She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and gigi. She is survived by her son Walter Ireland of Grape Creek, TX, daughter Myra Zumwalt of Canyon Lake, TX, grandchildren, Amanda Ireland, Trevor Scott, Wanda Ireland, Stephanie Main, Samantha Ireland, Kendra Ireland, Wesley Ireland, numerous great grandchildren, sisters Loretta Manis, Mary Holster, brothers Clarence Glover Jr. and Billy Glover. She was proceeded in death by her husband Harold Ireland, parents Clarence and Callie Glover, sisters Betty Smith and AdaBell Sikora.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 17th at 11am at Calvary Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers, a memorial may be made in her honor to Calvary Baptist Church, 2321 Armstrong St. San Angelo, TX 76903.
