Robert "Bob" A. Zeisler
October 8, 1945 - February 5, 2018

Robert A. "Bob" Zeisler, 72, of South Sioux City, NE. passed away on Monday,
February 5, 2018.

Funeral services will be on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 10:30am at St Patrick's
Catholic Church in Jackson, NE, with Father Paul Albenesius officiating. Burial
will be in St. John's Cemetery in rural Jackson, NE. Visitation will be on Monday,
February 12, 2018 from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., with a scriptural wake service at
7:00 P.M. at Mohr Funeral Home in South Sioux City, NE.

Bob was born on October 8, 1945 in Ponca, NE, the son of Everett and Nellie (Mackey)
Zeisler. He attended school in Dakota City, NE. Bob served in the U.S. Army during
the Vietnam War from 1967 to 1971. He married Mary Burns in Ponca, NE. To this union
two children were born. They made their home in Jackson, NE, where Bob worked
construction. Mary passed away in 1996. Robert owned and operated Zeisler
Construction. He was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church and the American
Legion. Bob married Rita Papenhausen in Sioux City, IA.

Bob and Rita enjoyed many years wintering in Arizona. They loved to travel and see
many of the sights that were on Robert's bucket list. He could often be found with
hand full of cards as he loved to play poker and all card games. Being on the job
site, in a card game, with family and friends, or searching for the latest deal, was
when he was the happiest.

Survivors include his wife, Rita Zeisler of South Sioux City, NE; son, Michael
Zeisler, Waterbury, NE, daughter, Bridgett (Patrick) Peters of Westville, IN;
granddaughter, Marsadie (Brady) Santee of Omaha, NE; grandsons, Zachariah Zeisler of
Lincoln, NE and Noah Zeisler of Waterbury, NE, Brian (Barbera) Pridie, of
Louisville, TX, Jeffery (Krista) Pridie of Hinton, IA, Matthew Pridie of Sioux
City, IA, Jennifer Pridie of Brewster NE; many grandchildren and great-grand
children; four siblings, Betty (Gary) Hoffman of Chadron, NE, Arlene Hollander of
Sioux City, IA, Donald (Kathy) Zeisler, Ruth Harrise both of Cedar Point, MN, and
many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary; brother, James, and a
brother-in-law, Doug Hollander.
