Ricky E. Finken, age 62, of Council Bluffs, passed away February 8, 2018 at Rose Vista Home in Woodbine, Iowa. Rick was born August 8, 1955, in Council Bluffs to Francis and Gladys (Obrecht) Finken. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in 1973. Rick was a chef, working at Perkins and Applebee's and various other restaurants and bars. He was preceded in death by his father, Francis; mother, Gladys; brother, Michael; and sister, Sharon Howard. Rick is survived by his daughter, Jillian Benedict of Carter Lake; grandchildren, Eli and Liam; brother, Gaylinn Finken of Council Bluffs; other relatives and friends.
