James Robert Nowakowski, 52, Carmel, passed away peacefully on February 8th, 2018. He was born in Indianapolis on July 23, 1965, to Robert and Katherine (Raff) Nowakowski. He was a loving son and brother to Laura Murphy and uncle to Michael Murphy IV. He was loved by many and will be missed by friends and family.
Jim loved auto racing and the Chicago Bears.
A gathering of friends and family will be held at Leppert Mortuary, 740 E. 86th St, Indianapolis, on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 for 4:00 to 5:00 p.m. with a Celebration of Life starting at 5:00 p.m.
