Denise Swartzendruber
August 21, 1964 - February 7, 2018

Denise Swartzendruber, of Burlington, passed away peacefully in her sleep, February 7, 2018. She was born August 21, 1964, in Mount Pleasant to Max and Darlene Swartzendruber. She graduated from Mount Pleasant High School in 1983.

Denise lived most of her adult life in Burlington and was dedicated to the rescue of shelter animals. She spent countless hours of her own time finding good homes for these animals. She had a love for life and brought joy to any room she entered.

Her parents and two brothers, Dave and Scot, preceded her in death and she is survived by her brother, Doug.

The funeral service for Denise will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 15th at Lunning Chapel. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of services. Interment will be held in Sugar Creek Cemetery, Wayland.
