Dennis Lee, 71, of Nevada, died at home February 11, due to complications of CIDP. Funeral Services will be 4:00 pm Friday, February 16, at Adams Funeral Home in Ames with a visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Old Salem Cemetery in Lacon, Illinois at a later date. Dennis Earl Lee was born December 23, 1946, to Earl and Bertha (Cassady) Lee in Ames. On December 8, 1979, he married Christine Shafer at the Garden Prairie Church in rural Madrid. Dennis is survived by his wife, Chris: four children, Sara Etter (Neal Kyer) of Mitchellville, Jennifer (Josh) Dieter of Winterset, Ryan Lee of Nevada, Travis Lee of Jefferson and his brother, Lloyd (Glenda) Lee of Ames. He was preceded in death by his parents and his granddaughter, Cora Jae Dieter.
