Greg Bitters, 66, of Iowa Falls, passed away Sunday, February 11, 2018 at Eldora Specialty Care. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2018 from 5-7 pm at the Woodley Funeral Home. Woodley Funeral Home, LLC of Iowa Falls is caring for Greg and his family.
Greg Alan Bitters was born on July 4, 1951 in Iowa Falls, Iowa to Howard and Arlene (Higgason) Bitters. He graduated from Iowa Falls High School with the class of 1969 and attended Iowa Central Community College in Fort Dodge, Iowa. Greg worked as a sales representative for Sales Force of Des Moines for over twenty five years.
Greg was an avid collector of diecast muscle cars and enjoyed attending car shows. He was a huge fan of Elvis Presley. His true joy in life was spending time with all of his grandchildren.
Greg Bitters is survived by his children, Shawn (Missy) Bitters of Colo, Iowa, Ashley (Josh) Barkey of Iowa Falls, Iowa, Josh Bitters (Michelle Bonin) of Iowa Falls, Iowa, Shanna Malek of Pella, Iowa and Chris Backoff of Marshalltown, Iowa and his grandchildren: Damien, Monte, Eli, Kaiden, Kameron, Kenry, Avery, Lily, Arlo, Jordan, Paighton, Logan, Brooklynn and Gavin. He was preceded in death by his parents.
