Kenneth Hughes, Hughes,
Kenneth Amos Hughes, Jr. was born August 27, 1926 in Des Moines to Kenneth and Florence (Rippeth) Hughes. He was a graduate of Urbandale High School, then served in the U.S. Army at the end of WWII. Kenneth was united in marriage with Marjorie Connor on February 26, 1949. He retired from a long career at Meredith Publishing.
