Milo L. Cunningham
May 10, 1932 - February 10, 2018

MADISON- Milo L. "Mike" Cunningham, age 85, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018. He was born on May 10, 1932, the son of William Otto and Goldie Murial Cunningham. Mike graduated from Madison East High School and joined the U.S Air Force from December of 1950 until January of 1952. He married Elizabeth Joyce Anderson on May 23, 1952, in Madison. Mike worked for many years at Cuna and Oscar Mayer before returning to MATC and Lakeland College, earning his degree in Business Accounting.  Mike then joined the team at Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, retired, and remained active as a DNR retiree.  He was a lifetime member of the VFW, most recently active in Post No. 7591.  Mike was an avid fisherman and also enjoyed bowling, sports, gambling, as well as spending time with family and friends. Mike is survived by his children, Gregory (Nikki), Steven (Debra), Diane (Fred) Goetz, Connie (David) Peterson, and Bruce (Cheri); 15 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law, Jean and Mildred; and numerous nieces and nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Betty; brothers, Loren, Byron, and Donald; and sisters, Edna, Donna, and Geraldine.  A funeral service will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Dr., Madison, at 10 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 16, 2018.  Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018.   A private family burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.  Online condolences may be made at www.gundersonfh.com  Gunderson East Funeral & Cremation Care 5203 Monona Dr. (608) 221-5420
