Alma Osborne, 108, of Le Mars, Iowa, passed away Monday, February 12, 2018 at Plymouth Manor Care Center in Le Mars.There will be no services. Private family burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens in Le Mars. Arrangements are with the Rexwinkel Funeral Home in Le Mars. Expressions of sympathy can be extended to the family through www.rexwinkelfh.com.Alma Olsen was born November 26, 1909 in rural Carroll, Nebraska, the daughter of Ole and M. Dorthea (Hansen) Olsen. She attended school in Wayne County, NE and later graduated from beauty college in Sioux City. She worked as a beautician for several years until the attack on Pearl Harbor. She then went to work on the production line making parts for military aircraft.She was united in marriage to Lester Osborne on November 28, 1944 in Omaha, Nebraska. They moved to Struble, Iowa in 1946, where they lived for many years before moving to Le Mars. Lester passed away September 1, 1999 in Le Mars.Survivors include several nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lester; and two sisters and one brother.
