Grayson James Russell

Grayson James Russell, the infant son of Dustin and Jessica (Schrader) Russell of Huxley, passed away at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City on February 11, 2018. Funeral Mass will be Monday, February 19, 2018, at 12:00 P.M. at the Church of the Sacred Heart in Boone, Iowa with Rev. Jim Bruch officiating. Burial will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. Grayson James Russell was born in Des Moines, Iowa on November 10, 2017 at UnityPoint Methodist Hospital. Grayson is preceded in death by his maternal great grandparents, Hughey and Donna Fults and James and Beverly Schrader. He is survived by his parents; Maternal Relatives: grandparents, Rick and Linda Schrader of Watkins; aunt, Jennifer Schrader and companion, Jayson Schulte of Norway; Paternal Relatives: grandparents, Craig and Bridget Hilgenberg of Cambridge; great grandparents, Ron and Sandy Russell of Boone; uncle, Devin Hilgenberg and his wife, Ashlee of Pleasant Hill; aunts, Tia and Alyssa Hilgenberg of Cambridge; great uncle, Jeff Russell of Dayton. He is also survived by other special family members, Phil and Becky Phipps of Eagle Grove, and Phil and Peggy Phipps of Stanhope, and other aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Friends may call at the Church of the Sacred Heart on Monday from 10:00 A.M. until service time. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family in Grayson's memory.
