Harry M. Bambrough
March 21, 1927 - February 10, 2018
OREGON-Harry M. Bambrough, age 90, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018, after a hard battle with cancer. He was born on March 21, 1927, in Madison, the son of Morris and Myrtle Bambrough. Harry married Arvella Oleson on Sept. 28, 1946, in Reedsburg. He worked hard all of his life by building houses for family and a cabin, which the family really enjoyed. He also worked in masonry, laying black top, and delivering oil for Rasmussen Fuel in the winter. Harry is survived by his wife of 71 wonderful years, Arvella; three children, Ed (Mary); Debbie (Oscar) Evenson, and Steve (Linda); four grandchildren, Doug (Adele) Bambrough, Scott (Johanna) Evenson, Juli (Jim) Beard and Alyssa Bambrough; three great-grandchildren, Jesse Evenson, Ashley and Donald Bambrough; and sister, Genevieve Kiely. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jim, Bill and Robert; and sisters, Dolores and Darlene. Funeral services will be held at GUNDERSON EAST FUNERAL AND CREMATION CARE, 5203 Monona Drive, Madison, at 11 a.m., on Friday, Feb. 16, 2018. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
