In loving memory of

Laura N. Krantz
December 2, 1931 - February 7, 2018

Laura Nell Krantz was born December 2, 1931, in Pansy Holler, in the Ozark Mountains of Missouri to Sam and Dorothy Davis. Laura went to be with Jesus February 8, 2018, at the age of 86 years and 2 months. At the time of her departure Laura was living in Keysville, GA with her daughter.

Laura grew up in Missouri and at a young age made her journey west where eventually she became a longtime resident of Brighton, CO. She considered Brighton her home where she could look out her window and view the majestic Rocky Mountains. Laura liked to spend time with her husband Alex in the mountains as often as they could get away for an adventure of camping and fishing. One of their favorite places was Poudre Canyon. Whenever her family or friends came for a visit, she would often take them for a ride up in the mountains and as her grandson reminded us, "You better have your seat belt on".

Laura loved to spend time with her family and she didn't mind driving across the United States to see them but if you rode with her, you would soon realize pit stops were few and far between!

Laura dedicated her life to Christ in March of 1980 where she was home alone watching a Billy Graham Crusade. Since that day, she has had a heart for others to know her Lord Jesus and to be loved by Him.

Laura was honest to a fault, she didn't sugar coat anything. Her home was open to just about anyone for a good hot meal and a clean bed to sleep in. Her hobbies included reading, gardening, canning, cooking, sewing and playing the piano and guitar.

We will cherish each of our personal memories and always be grateful for her smile that lit up the room, a heart full of love and a quick wit that brought an abundance of laughter. Laura will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Reunited in heaven with her mother and father Sam and Dorothy, husband Alex, son Ronnie, sister Betty, brother Gary and many other family and friends.

Laura is survived by her brother Jerry Ray, her children Carolyn, Donnie, Ilonna, Sharon, a stepson Jerry, a stepdaughter Linda and a multitude of grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be held graveside at 11:00 am on February 26, 2018 at Elmwood Cemetery, Brighton, CO.
