Norma Harris, 81, of Fort Dodge, formerly of Waverly, died as a result of a car accident on Sunday, February 11, 2018.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 19, 2016 at Oak Hill Baptist Church, Humboldt, Iowa. Interment will be held 1:00 p.m.Tuesday in Lowell Cemetery, Clarksville, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Sunday, February 18 at Gunderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
Norma Lee Anderson, daughter of Howard and Hilda (Howard) Anderson, was born March 5, 1936 in Shell Rock, Iowa. She graduated from Shell Rock High School in 1953. On October 1, 1954, Norma was united in marriage to James Harris. She was employed at the State Bank of Waverly. After retirement in 2003 the couple moved to Fort Dodge to be closer to family. She enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great grandchildren in their activities. Norma was a member of Oak Hill Baptist Church in Humboldt.
Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Jim Harris; her daughters Sheryl (Phil) Reed of Fort Dodge, Brenda (Rick) Glasow of Blaine,MN; 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren; her brother Harold (Janet) Anderson of Shell Rock. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Memorials may be directed towards Oak Hill Baptist Church.
