Jeannie Lee Holman
November 1, 1945 - February 11, 2018

Jeannie Holman, 72, of Carter Lake, Iowa, passed away and went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 11, 2018. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church in Carter Lake, Iowa. She knew and loved the Lord with all her heart. Her favorite Bible verse was John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life." If you ever received a card or letter from her, you may well have seen this Bible verse written on it. Jeannie lived in Carter Lake, Iowa for 55 years. She loved the town and its people. Her favorite interests included church, family, movies and the Carter Lake Senior Center, where she had countless friends She is survived by her brother, sister-in-law and niece, Mike, Phyllis and Trudy Holman; sister and brother-in-law, Nancy and Jerry De Ainza; step-brothers, Don and Ken Konz; step-sister, Marcia Konz; niece and nephew-in-law, Amy and Don Holman-Sieler; nephew and nephew-in-law, Jake and Mike Walker; numerous great and great-great nieces and nephews, numerous aunts and uncles, numerous cousins, and numerous special friends. Condolences can be mailed to Mike Holman at 3144 Peterson Avenue, Fremont, NE 68025. Memorial contributions can be mailed to the First Baptist Church at 3451 N. 9th Street, Carter Lake, Iowa 51510. Jeannie truly is an angel of God and will be forever missed by family and friends. She was a special person to them all. A memorial service will be held at a later date to be announced.
