FORT WORTH - Ambrose "Andy" Daffada, 92, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018.
Funeral: A private family service will be held at a later date.
Andy was born on Sept. 7, 1925, in Brooklyn, N.Y. to Lucia and Vincenzo Daffada. He spent his childhood in Parma, Italy. Upon returning to the Unites States, he joined the U.S. Army. Andy was a career veteran, serving 20 years which included combat duty in Korea.
He was passionate about his family, his Italian heritage and life itself. He had an endearing personality which made him beloved by many.
Andy was preceded in death by his first wife, and mother of his children, Anna Maria; brother, Harry; and his parents.
Survivors: Wife, Nelda; son, James Daffada and wife, Ellen; daughter, Mary Chandler and husband, Randy; grandchildren, Danielle, Gina, Joey, Jack, Cross, Lauren and Claire; and great-grandchildren, Canon, Emalie and Leo.
