In loving memory of

Jacqueline Blankenship
July 13, 1989 - February 7, 2018

Jacqueline (Jackie) Blankenship, 28, of Platteville Colorado, passed away on February 7, 2018 in Greeley.

Jacqueline was born in Fort Ord, California, to Marvin Murray & Rebecca (Hoxworth) Perez on July 13, 1989. She was a beautiful child whose big heart & stubborn personality was loved by all who met her.

Jacqueline moved to Colorado with her Husband Clint in 2015. She has had many adventures across this beautiful state that she considered home. It was hard to keep her out of the mountains and off the trails in her Jeep.

Jacqueline was known to love all animals and people alike. Children were drawn to Jacqueline due to her bright and playful personality. As a child, she had gotten in trouble several times in school for bringing wild bats, snakes, anything she could catch on her way to school, for 'Show & Tell'. As an adult, her love of animals and children never slowed, and she would routinely bring home the any animal she found and shower them with love. She was also a "Jeep Girl" who loved "Jeeping" in the outdoors with her four legged & furry child, Skeeter. Skeeter was Jacqueline's right hand man, and he too passed shortly after Jacqueline.

She also enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with family. Everyone knew if there was a body of water near Jacqueline, she was in it either swimming or catching crawdads! Her carefree personality was often demonstrated by her personal quote, "Life is Life".

"She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future"
~Proverbs 31:25

Jacqueline is survived by her Husband, Clint Blankenship of Platteville, Colorado; Brother, Alex and his wife, Franchesca Murray of California; Step-Brothers; Robert & Alex Perez of Missouri; Step-Father; Bobby Perez of Missouri; Grandparents, Robert & Georgia Hoxworth of Missouri, and Bonnie Murray of Missouri; Aunts & Uncles, Tim & Edie Campbell of Texas, and Robert M. Hoxworth of Missouri; and a large loving Extended Family.

She was preceded in death by her Son, Maverick Stout; Grandfather, Mel Murray; Mother-In-Law, Tammy Blankenship; and her Cousin & "Partner in Crime", Sarah Morris.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at Rocky Mountain Christian Church, 9447 Niwot Rd, Niwot, CO 80503. A Reception will be held following the Memorial Service at Parrots, 6055 Firestone Blvd, Firestone, CO 80504.
