Funeral services for Nancy Anne Ridenour Myers, 77, of Tipton, formerly of Clarence and Clinton, who died quietly in Unity Point St. Luke's Hospital in Cedar Rapids on February 13, 2018, will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 2:30 pm, Trinity Lutheran Church, Tipton. Pastor Beth Wartick will officiate the service. Burial will follow in the Tipton Masonic Cemetery under the direction of Fry Funeral Home. Visitation will be held in the church prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. until time of services. To honor Nancy's life a memorial has been established to Trinity Lutheran Church, Tipton. Nancy was born in Clinton, Iowa on October 18, 1940. She was the daughter of Everett Leroy Ridenour and Anne Marie Subcleff Ridenour. Nancy graduated from Clinton High School and completed her nursing degree in Moline Lutheran School. Nancy was united in marriage to Carroll Gene Myers on December 17, 1961 in Clinton, Iowa. Their home was blessed with three children; Gail, Lisa and David. Nancy and Carroll were faithful members of Trinity Lutheran Church in Tipton. Nancy worked in nursing services for many years and was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband on August 18, 1993, her sister, Janice Tripp, her daughter Laura Myers and her grandson, David Jon Myers.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Gail Mirfield of Tipton, Iowa, Rev. Lisa and husband, Scott Dietrich of Cedar Falls, Iowa and son, David Myers of Clarence, Iowa; her sister, Marylou (George) Mays of Belvidere, Illinois and her brother, Larry (Rhonda) Ridenour of Davenport, Iowa
