Funeral services for Ms. Neda Rose Copeland, age 77, of Livingston, will be conducted 11 a.m., Monday, February 19, 2018 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Rev. Dee Wells will officiate. Burial will be in the Garrett Cemetery. The family will welcome friends on Sunday evening, February 18, 2018 from 5 until 9 p.m.
Ms. Neda Rose Copeland passed from this life on Saturday morning, February 17 2018 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. She was born in Overton County, Tennessee on March 25, 1940 to the late Millard and Anna Lee Garrett Thompson. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed cleaning, puzzles, working in her flower garden, collecting art, and cooking for others. She was also a member of McFerrin Methodist Church.
She is survived by her son, Joel Copeland of Livingston, TN; sister, Jessie Parrett and husband Roy of Monroe, TN; grandchildren, Lora Cothron and husband Bill, Jordan White, and Jacob Copeland all of Monroe, TN; great-grandchildren, Grayson Cothron and Kayla Copeland, and son-in-law, Jerry White of Monroe, TN.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Myra White and brothers, Doak Thompson and Harold "Crock" Thompson.
