Brody L. Collins, age 12, died on Sunday, February 18, 2018, at home surrounded by his loving family. The funeral service will be at 10:30 am on Saturday, February 24, 2018 at Ranfranz and Vine Funeral Homes with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Oakwood East Cemetery.
Brody Lee Collins was born on October 13, 2005, to Rodney and Amy (Olson) Collins. He lived at home with his parents and siblings, Landyn and Kynsley. He liked being read to and watching movies especially Star Wars.
Brody is survived by his parents, Rodney and Amy of Rochester; brother, Landyn; sister, Kynsley; paternal grandparents, Roger and Tina Collins of Newton, IA; maternal grandparents, Allan and Sherrie Olson of Osage, IA; paternal great-grandmother Charleen Smith of Heber Springs, AR.; maternal great-grandparents George and Shirley Olson of St. Ansgar, IA ; great grandfather Carroll Bishop of Mason City, IA; aunts, cousins and many extended family members.
Brody was preceded in death by maternal great-grandmother, Joyce Bishop and paternal great-grandparents, Merlin "Jack" Smith and Hartley and Nona Collins.
