Paula S. Pereira, 51, of (Harbordale), Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, passed away on February 16, 2018. She was born in Canada on December 2, 1966 and moved to Florida as an infant. She was the daughter of the late John H. Pereira of Ft. Lauderdale and the late Ruth Pereira of Dania Beach. Paula spent her childhood in Dania Beach and graduated from South Broward High School where she was on the girl's water polo team. She was in the Real Estate Business and owned and operated several properties and served with the Harbordale Civic Assoc.
She was always cheerful, generous, and loved life. Paula was a team leader with the Citizens on Patrol, Fort Lauderdale P.D., where she was admired by everyone and will be missed by all. Paula suffered most of her adult life with Crohn's disease and passed away from complications of surgery.
A Memorial Gathering will be held on Thursday, March 1, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm at Fred Hunter Funeral Home, 718 S. Federal Hwy, Ft. Lauderdale.
